SRS homemade paté
This is a super tasty, substantial lunch. Delicious and nutritious, you can get this smoked mackerel pate made up by our kitchen.
Recommendations suggest that most of us (non-vegetarians, obviously) should eat at least 2 portions of fish a week, with one of these being oily fish (think salmon, trout – and the humble mackerel).
Oily fish, like the smoked mackerel in this pate, are a good source of heart-healthy Omega 3 fatty acids. The fish is also an excellent source of Vitamin D – essential for healthy bones and teeth, as well as for the absorption of calcium (present here in the soft cheese, as it happens).
